Tong Sui, a Cantonese colloquial term, also known as Sweet Soup. Due to regional differences, the Cantonese-speaking population in Guangdong generally refers to it as ‘Tong Sui,’ while the Teochew-speaking population in Guangdong calls it ‘Sweet Soup.’ It’s a dessert, a sweet-flavored soup, with a wide variety of types.

If you want to eat a bowl of silky smooth tofu pudding, Dao is the place you must check in. Dao’s tofu pudding recipe is from a family restaurant – it started as a humble tofu stall in Bercham, Ipoh. Everything sold here is prepared from scratch every day, including the rice balls, soy milk and bean paste. Even if it’s just a bowl of silky smooth tofu pudding, the smoothness of the simple thing makes you feel full and warm! In addition, you can also order thin ice or cream, which is also quite unique.

This Dawa Dessert has been selling for many years and is located in Pudu. It is open until midnight, so you must go here if you are hungry! Every day, there are hot red bean soup, black sesame, egg tea, sweet potato soup, ginger soup, etc. In addition to soup, they also sell snacks, including glutinous rice cake, taro cake, red tortoise cake, bowl cake, etc.

Sweeto

Sweeto in Kuchai Lama specializes in a variety of desserts. They also sell very trendy desserts! They put the traditional black sesame paste, peanut paste and almond paste into a high-heeled glass, and the whole thing becomes so high-end! It’s like drinking a cocktail! Their desserts are all made in-house and are very smooth!

Chicken Bowl Dessert

Located in Kajang, Jigongwan Dessert sells good old-fashioned flavors! Desserts, tea cakes, home-cooked dishes, fried rice noodles, etc. are all full of the taste of childhood! The traditional desserts include red bean dessert, momo chacha, ginkgo yuba barley, oatmeal porridge, and sweet potato dessert! They also have different cakes every day, including taro cake, sweet potato egg, red turtle, radish cake, etc., as well as home-cooked dishes with different menus every day!

Located in PJ Section 17, Hong Kee Desserts starts selling at 5pm. It is a small stall that has remained unchanged for many years. Iron pots are filled with different desserts, and they sell them rain or shine! There are more than 15 kinds of desserts to choose from every day, including red bean dessert, mung bean dessert, oatmeal porridge, dragon fruit dessert, kumquat dessert, etc. There are many choices and the price is very cheap!

New So Sweet Dessert

A good place for late night desserts! There is a “New So Sweet Desset” in Semenyih. There are many desserts, sweet soups and ice creams here, such as ABC, Momo chacha, red bean dumplings, mango sago, tofu pudding, sesame peanut paste, etc. In addition, there are also hot staples, such as clear soup noodles, nasi lemak, curry rice, lemon chicken rice, curry fish balls, etc.!

Located in Cheras C180, the home-style dessert shop Po Po’s House has a nostalgic feel! The shop is decorated very warmly and comfortably, and the aroma of sweet soup wafts through the air, making people especially miss the feeling of being at grandma’s house! Their Po Po’s dregs, yuba barley, red bean sweet soup, snow fungus and longan are all popular must-orders! In addition to sweet soup, they also sell glutinous rice, rice rolls, taro cakes, etc.
